hospital each year. Lets work together to save more lives!
In 2020, any-mention sudden cardiac arrest mortality in the US was 436,852. CPR, especially if administered immediately after cardiac arrest, can double or triple a person’s chance of survival. According to 2021 US data for adult OHCA only, survival to hospital discharge was 9.1% for all EMS-treated non-traumatic OHCA cardiac arrests.
SouthEast Regional EMS is proud to offer community educational programs in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automatic external defibrillator (AED), first aid training, and Stop the bleed training.
Training programs are offered on a monthly basis at our Jefferson Hills Station located at:

Additional Information:
- Cost of the BLS Provider or HeartSaver CPR/AED is $50.00/ Student
- HeartSaver Pediatric First-Aid CPR/AED is $65.00/ Student
- Certifications are valid for 2 Years and follow the most current American Heart Association (AHA) educational guidelines
- First Aid or Group CPR/AED Classes are available on an individual request. Please contact us at 412-384-0111 to speak with our staff for further information and scheduling.
- Minimum enrollment of 5 students per class. SEREMS reserves the right to cancel classes not meeting the minimum enrollment.
